About this document

Wood Preservative Potentials by janeetanindy is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The study investigates the wood preservative potentials of leaf extracts from Ocimum gratissimum, Azadirachta indica, and Vernonia amygdalina against termite and fungal attacks on various wood species in Nigeria. Results indicate that these natural extracts significantly enhance the resistance of susceptible wood species to degradation, showing comparable effectiveness to synthetic preservatives. The research supports the use of these plant extracts as viable bio-preservatives for wood protection.
