This study evaluates the long-term outcomes of spinal decompression surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis, following 77 patients over five years. Significant improvements in back and leg pain, as well as physical function, were observed at one year post-surgery, but these improvements diminished by the five-year mark, particularly in social function.
