This clinical trial evaluated the effect of oral premedication with ketorolac and diclofenac potassium on the efficacy of inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. Results indicated that premedication with ketorolac significantly improved the success rate of IANB compared to diclofenac and placebo, with 76.19% success in the ketorolac group. The study concluded that ketorolac is more effective in achieving adequate anaesthesia in such patients.
