What is Jesus Works in a Chicken Plant about?
Jesus came to town a month ago but found little success preaching to others. With no home or job, he struggled to find food and shelter. When he tried attending a local church, the pastor rejected and scorned him, telling him his presence would be a disgrace. The pastor suggested the only place Jesus could work given his status was at the chicken plant operating the gizzard slitting machine in order to have some income and place to live. Jesus now works seven to three each day at the chicken plant.
