This document analyzes available COVID-19 infection and mortality data from 38 states and D.C. to examine the impact on Latinos. It finds that Latinos are overrepresented among COVID-19 cases in 29 states relative to their population share. Thirteen states have ratios of twice or more Latino cases compared to their population, including South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Kansas.
