This study analyzes the impact of exchange rate volatility on foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows in Balkan countries from 2011 to 2021, using a fixed-effects model. The findings indicate that exchange rate volatility negatively affects FDI, while crude oil prices have a positive influence; inflation and corruption perception index do not significantly impact FDI inflows. The research highlights the importance of stabilizing exchange rates to enhance the investment climate in the region.
