About this document
Braham Et Al 2006 Simplifying The Star Excursion Balance Test Analyses of Subjects With and Without Chronic Ankle by Poly Poliana is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study aimed to simplify the Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT) by analyzing its eight components in subjects with and without chronic ankle instability (CAI). Results indicated that the posteromedial reach was the most representative of overall performance, suggesting that fewer tasks could effectively assess functional deficits related to CAI. The findings advocate for the use of specific reach tasks in clinical settings to evaluate sensorimotor deficits and monitor rehabilitation progress.
