Isambard Brunel was a famous 19th century English engineer born in 1806 in Portsmouth, England. He built bridges, railways, tunnels and boats. Some of his most notable projects included the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol and serving as chief engineer for the Great Western Railway Company, building rail lines between London and Bristol.
