(2) μ can be uniquely extended to a measure μ-bar on the algebra A generated by C if μ satisfies two conditions: (i) countable additivity on finite unions in C and (ii) subadditivity on countable unions in C. (3) It is proven that μ-bar is a well defined, finitely additive, and countably additive measure on A that extends μ.
