What is The Two Wolves: A Cherokee Legend about?

The Cherokee legend of "The Two Wolves Fighting" speaks of the internal battle between good and evil. An elder tells his grandchildren about two wolves fighting in his heart, one filled with anger and the other with love. The grandchildren ask which one will win, and the elder replies that the one he feeds will win. This teaches that we can choose to cultivate positive or negative emotions through our actions.
