This study assessed the quality of vision in 100 patients undergoing bilateral laser-assisted subepithelial keratectomy (LASEK) for myopia and hyperopia using the Quality of Vision (QoV) questionnaire. Results indicated that while quality of vision worsened in the early postoperative period, it returned to preoperative levels by one month and improved beyond preoperative levels by three months. No significant differences were found between myopic and hyperopic patients at any time interval.
