The inner planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are rocky, while the outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are gas giants. Pluto, once the 9th planet, is now classified as a dwarf planet. Each planet has unique characteristics and features.
