About this document
Mitigating Strawberry Autotoxicity in Hydroponics by Shailendra Rajan is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study investigates the effects of 2,4-D and NAA auxin treatments on mitigating autotoxicity in strawberry plants grown in closed hydroponic systems. Results indicate that while auxin treatments did not affect growth in fresh nutrient solutions, they significantly improved growth in reused solutions contaminated with benzoic acid, which inhibits plant growth. The 5.4 μM NAA treatment was found to be the most effective in alleviating autotoxicity and enhancing strawberry yield.
