What is Impact of Cooling Pads on Air Cooler Efficiency about?
The study examined the effect of the number of cooling pads on the output air conditions and effectiveness of an air cooler. Experiments were conducted by varying the number of thin cooling pads (1mm thick) from 3 to 6 pads. The inlet air temperature was maintained at 30°C with 60% relative humidity. The lowest outlet air temperature of 24.04°C was achieved with 6 cooling pads. Effectiveness reached a maximum of 0.99. Increasing the number of cooling pads improved the air cooler
