What is Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media Case Study about?

A 27-year-old male presented with a 2-year history of foul-smelling left ear discharge and a 2-day history of deviation of the right angle of the mouth. Examination revealed left unsafe chronic suppurative otitis media with facial palsy. The patient underwent mastoid exploration and decompression of the facial nerve, which found compression of the vertical segment of the facial nerve. The patient recovered completely within one month after early surgery.
