This study presents a method for correcting ASTER GDEM using stacked ensemble learning (SEL) and ICESat-2/ATL08 data, focusing on the Babao River Basin in the Qilian Mountains. By integrating five machine learning models, the correction process significantly improved DEM accuracy, reducing the root mean square error from 7.15 m to 4.13 m. The findings indicate that SEL outperforms single ML models and enhances DEM accuracy in complex terrains influenced by slope, aspect, and land cover types.
