This study examines the professional development of 60 teacher educators in Kazakhstan through action research focused on STEM and multilingual education. The findings indicate that while educators recognized the value of action research for enhancing their teaching practices, they faced challenges related to self-efficacy and practical implementation. Continued support and targeted interventions are necessary to effectively integrate action research into teacher education in Kazakhstan.
