This short report investigates the demographics of participants in school-based autism research, highlighting the underrepresentation of racial/ethnic minoritized youth. Data from 14 years of studies indicate that while a majority of educators are non-Hispanic White, over half of the autistic youth sampled identified as belonging to racial/ethnic minoritized groups.
