The Good School Toolkit, developed by Raising Voices, was tested in a cluster-randomised controlled trial in Uganda to reduce physical violence from school staff towards primary school students. The study found that the intervention significantly decreased the prevalence of reported violence, with 31% in intervention schools compared to 48.7% in control schools. The results indicate that the Toolkit is an effective method for addressing violence against children in educational settings.
