What is Glycine Densities & Sound Speed in Electrolytes about?
The densities and speed of sound of glycine solutions (up to 3 mol·kg-1) in concentrated electrolyte solutions of NaBr, KCl, KBr, and MgCl2 (up to 4 mol·kg-1) were measured at 298.15 K. The apparent molar volumes and compressibilities of glycine were calculated from these measurements. MgCl2 had a stronger influence on the apparent molar properties than the other 1:1 electrolytes studied. A Pitzer-type equation with parameters representing binary and ternary interactions was able to successfully correlate t
