About this document
Student Confusion in Electric and Magnetic Forces by whatever is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates student confusion between electric and magnetic forces in an introductory physics course. Results show that while students correctly answer electric force questions after instruction, many incorrectly believe that electric forces are perpendicular to electric fields after learning about magnetic forces. The findings suggest that learning about one concept can interfere with understanding the other, highlighting the need for clearer distinctions in teaching electricity and magnetism.
