About this document
Mixer Assemblies by Alexsandro Correia da Silva is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document discusses changes made to mixer assemblies and valves in carburetor groups for certain Caterpillar engines. The mixer assembly part number did not change but the design of the piston did. Older assemblies used screws to fasten piston parts while new assemblies use a valve. Valves also changed from having a relief area to being flat on top. Technicians are instructed to use the correct valve type for each assembly and remove washers when replacing with new assemblies.
