What is History and Concepts of Electricity about?

Electricity is the presence and flow of electric charge. It encompasses familiar phenomena like static electricity and electrical current, as well as less familiar concepts like electromagnetic fields. The word "electricity" derives from the Greek word for amber, since early experiments found rubbing amber could attract light objects. Thales of Miletus made early observations of static electricity in 600 BC, though electricity remained an intellectual concept until the 1600s and Benjamin Franklin
