What is Taylor Mac about?

I believe theater should challenge audiences and push boundaries. Theatrical works should avoid focusing only on the middle class experience and instead tackle stories of success, failure, tragedy and comedy across all levels of society. Theater artists should work to kill self-consciousness and create brave, adventurous performances where the audience can impact the outcome. The goal should be to produce works of consequence that change both artists and audiences.
