Triphala Ointment by Editor IJTSRD is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study evaluates the anti-inflammatory activity of Triphala ointment in Wister Albino rats, comparing two formulations with ratios of 1:1:1 and 1:2:4. Results indicate that the 1:2:4 formulation exhibited a significant reduction in paw edema, achieving an 88.70% inhibition rate, which is comparable to the standard NSAID Diclofenac. The findings suggest that Triphala ointment is effective in reducing inflammation and may serve as a viable herbal alternative for treatment.
