This paper addresses the joint waveform and passive beamforming design for MIMO integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems utilizing a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). A block coordinate descent (BCD) method is proposed to maximize the signal-to-interference-and-noise-ratio (SINR) for radar while minimizing multi-user interference (MUI) for communication. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method significantly improves performance compared to existing approaches.
