About this document
Impact of Pain, Agitation, and Delirium Bundle On Delirium and Cognitive Function by Lorena Cando is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluates the impact of a pain, agitation, and delirium (PAD) care bundle on delirium incidence and cognitive function in mechanically ventilated ICU patients. Results indicate that the PAD bundle significantly reduced delirium occurrence, duration, and ICU length of stay, while also improving short-term cognitive function at 3 months post-discharge. The findings suggest that implementing the PAD bundle can enhance clinical outcomes for critically ill patients in the ICU.
