This study examined the impact of two concurrent exercise modalities on serum levels of FGF21, irisin, follistatin, and myostatin in men with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Fifty-one participants underwent either concurrent aerobic-resistance or resistance-aerobic training for 12 weeks, resulting in significant increases in irisin and follistatin, while myostatin levels decreased. The findings suggest that concurrent training can be an effective therapeutic approach for improving metabolic health in T2DM patient
