What is MLK about?

MLK states that while African Americans were freed from slavery 100 years ago, they still face discrimination equivalent to slavery. He calls for them to finally achieve the freedom promised to them and cash in the check of liberty they were given. MLK advocates for non-violent protest through soul force rather than physical force. He expresses his dream that one day all people will be truly equal in America as the Declaration of Independence intended.
