What is Intraoperative Hypotension & Delirium Study about?

This study investigates the association between intraoperative hypotension and postoperative delirium in patients over 70 years old undergoing elective noncardiac surgery. A retrospective cohort analysis of 2,352 patients found no significant link between intraoperative hypotension and the incidence of postoperative delirium. The results suggest that, within the observed range of hypotension, it does not contribute to postoperative delirium in this elderly population.
