Climate change is a very serious global threat to the coastal and marine environment, the impacts of which include increasing sea level and surface temperature, as well as increasing the intensity and frequency of tidal waves/tsunamis (Burrel et al., 2007;Paul et al., 2018). Derived impacts cause damage to coral reefs (coral bleaching and weakening of coral aragonite structure), submergence or shifting of mangrove formations toward the mainland, warming of algae, decreased reproductive ability of fish, changes in sex-ratio in turtles, and changes in the composition of species assemblies (Linneweber, 2013;Stys et al., 2017).
