What is Intelligent Reflecting Surface-Assisted Cognitive about?

This document discusses the integration of Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces (IRS) in cognitive radio systems to enhance spectral and energy efficiency. It presents a downlink multiple-input single-output (MISO) cognitive radio system where secondary users (SUs) share spectrum with primary users (PUs), focusing on optimizing beamforming and reflecting coefficients under various constraints. The study considers both perfect and imperfect channel state information (CSI) and demonstrates the potential improvemen
