What is Newdale about?

The community of Newdale, Manitoba celebrated its 125th anniversary last weekend from July 23rd to 25th. Events included a supper, street dance, and fireworks on Friday. Saturday featured a pancake breakfast, school reunion, and parade with over 70 floats. Sunday included a church service and community picnic. Over 560 people attended the celebration, including former residents who traveled from across Canada and as far as New Zealand to reconnect and reminisce during the hometown festivities commemorating
