About this document
Nutrient Analysis of Phalaenopsis Orchids by Kim Chi is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the effects of different growing media on the nutrient and chlorophyll concentrations in Phalaenopsis orchids. Results indicate that expanded clay pellets provide higher concentrations of magnesium, iron, and copper compared to sphagnum moss, while leaves show higher levels of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and manganese. However, the growing media did not significantly affect chlorophyll concentrations in the leaves and roots of the orchids.
