Malia Bryan completed a mentorship at Benchmark Physical Therapy in Oakwood. She observed various physical therapy treatments and activities, and helped patients with exercises. She learned about the importance of confidence in meeting new patients daily. While helping a displeased deaf patient, Malia felt terrible but her mentors assured her it was not her fault. Overall, the experience helped Malia develop personal skills she believes will benefit her future, regardless of her career path.
