What is OCD Phenomenology and ICD-11 Insights about?

This study analyzed data from 1001 OCD patients in Brazil to better understand OCD phenomenology and inform revisions to diagnostic guidelines. It found that sensory phenomena were common but differed between those with and without tics. Mental compulsions and varying levels of insight were also prevalent. The findings support describing these features in diagnostic guidelines to improve OCD recognition worldwide.
