What is Clockwise : a Time-telling Tale about?
Thomas's family is always late for things. Thomas thinks that if he only knew how to tell time, he could help his family get where they need to be. Then Thomas meets a clockmaker, who gives him a very special clock and some tips to help him learn to tell time. Award-winning designer and artist Sara Pinto shares what Thomas learned in this beautiful and unique package that teaches kids how to tell time by using a clock that they create! Included in this special box set is a real clock mechanism, clock hands, a blank clock face made of sturdy cardstock that kids can decorate their own ways, plus a full-color sticker sheet with two styles of numbers and designs to use on the clock face. By first learning the hour hand to estimate time, and then adding the minute hand to get more precise, kids will get a grip on the actual meaning of the hours and minutes--and create a beautiful working clock!
