Victoria Wisniewski conducted an experiment to determine the kinetics of the cis-trans isomerization of 4-Anilino-4’-nitroazobenzene using flash photolysis and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The rate constants were determined to be 0.00415 s-1 at 30°C, 0.0095 s-1 at 40°C, 0.0147 s-1 at 50°C, and 0.0424 s-1 at 60°C. Arrhenius analysis yielded an activation energy of 62,054.03 J/mol, and Eyring analysis gave an entropy of activation of -94.89 J/mol K and an enthalpy of activation
