SIEMENS PRONETA is a free PC-based software tool that provides assistance with commissioning PROFINET plants. It allows for topology overview of connected devices, IO testing to check wiring and module configuration, and basic configuration without an engineering tool or dedicated hardware. New features in version 2.6 include a Chinese interface and various bugfixes. PRONETA runs on Windows 7 and above with a .NET Framework and connects via Industrial Ethernet cable to scan PROFINET topology.
