What is Understanding the Witches about?

The document describes the circle of the witches or "Compass", which is a circular sacred space used to perform rites and magical work. Within the circle, spirits, powers, and virtues from different paths or directions that represent natural forces can be invoked. The circle provides access to different worlds and planes of existence. By performing the "Circle Journey", witches can enter a trance and communicate with the divine to collect energy to be used in.
