This study investigates the risk factors and complications associated with Herpes zoster (HZ) among patients at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital in Surabaya, Indonesia, from 2019 to 2021. The findings indicate that HZ is more prevalent in females, particularly in the 46-55 age group, with hypertension identified as the most significant risk factor and post-herpetic neuralgia as the most common complication. The research highlights the need for improved preventive measures to reduce HZ incidence.
