What is VERSUS: An Excursion-Set-Inspired Void-Finder For The Stage-IV Era about?

The document introduces VERSUS, a fast and publicly available void-finding algorithm designed for identifying spherical underdensities in the galaxy distribution, validated against synthetic and mock galaxy samples. VERSUS achieves strong agreement with theoretical predictions for the void size function without requiring post-processing, making it suitable for observational survey data. The algorithm is efficient and user-friendly, facilitating robust cosmic void analyses in the context of Stage-IV surveys.
