S Olaparib Myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia: 6 case reports In a retrospective multicenter cohort study (GINECO RETROLA), involving 128 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) treated with olaparib between May 2014 and March 2017, 6 women including 5 women aged 46-66 years [age of one woman not stated] were described, who developed myelodysplastic syndrome or acute myeloid leukemia during olaparib treatment for EOC [route, durations of treatments to reaction onsets and outcomes not stated].The women with relapsed, breast cancer gene (BRCA)-mutated EOC started receiving monotherapy with olaparib 400mg capsules twice daily. However, they developed treatment-related toxicities in the form of myelodysplastic syndrome (n=5) or acute myeloid leukemia as a secondary cancer (n=1).All women discontinued treatment with olaparib after exposure of 257-1083 days [exposure duration for one woman not stated].
