## Abstract New dinuclear pentacoordinate molybdenum(V) complexes, [Mo~2~^V^O~3~L~2~] [L = thiosemicarbazonato ligand: C~6~H~4~(O)CH:NN:C(S)NH__R__′ and C~10~H~6~(O)CH:NN:C(S)NH__R__′; __R__′ = H, CH~3~, C~6~H~5~) were obtained either by oxygen atom abstraction from Mo^VI^O~2~L with triphenylphosphine or by using [Mo~2~O~3~(acac)~4~] in the reaction with the corresponding ligands H~2~L. Crystal and molecular structure of [Mo~2~O~3~{C~6~H~4~(O)CH:NN:C(S)NHC~6~H~5~}~2~]·CH~3~CN has been determined by the single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction method.
