Hazrat Nooh (peace be upon him) was sent by Allah to guide his people, who had become idol worshippers, towards the right path for around 950 years. However, most of his people refused to believe in him and continued in their sinful ways. Finally, Allah commanded Nooh to build a large ark. When it was completed, Allah commanded a great flood to occur that drowned all the disbelievers while Nooh and his followers, along with pairs of all animals, were saved on the ark. After many days, the floodwaters recede
