About this document
Theoretical Yield of CaCO3 in Reactions by FAtma HAnys is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This experiment observes the effects of stresses on a chemical equilibrium system. Calcium chloride and sodium carbonate solutions were mixed to form calcium carbonate precipitate. For the first reaction, calcium chloride was the limiting reactant and yielded 88.46% of the theoretical calcium carbonate. For the second reaction, sodium carbonate was limiting and yielded 74.44% of the theoretical product. Sources of error include imperfect filtration and weighing inaccuracies. Safety goggles and gloves were w
