What is Dwight York about?
Dwight York was the leader of the Nuwaubian movement, based in Georgia. He was convicted in 2004 of child molestation charges involving the transportation of minors across state lines for sexual purposes, as well as racketeering and financial crimes. York had founded various religious groups since the 1960s, changing their names and doctrines over time. In the 1990s he built an Egyptian-themed city called Tama-Re in Georgia before being arrested in 2002.
