About this document
Impact of Fear Conditioning on Working Memory by sem359 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Current theories propose that anxiety and threat-related stimuli negatively impact working memory processes, with threat-related stimuli biasing attention, leading to their preferential storage in working memory. However, much of this work has examined stimuli that hold physically relevant threat attributes and fails to address how a “neutral” stimulus that acquires a threat attribute through aversive conditioning (i.e., CS+) influences working memory storage.
