The study evaluates injuries in snakes from Brazil caused by human actions, analyzing 449 specimens from two collections between 2008 and 2013. Of these, 245 snakes were injured, with nonvenomous species showing a higher injury rate (66.3%) compared to venomous ones (18.2%).
