1. Aircraft operators cannot fly twin-engine aircraft over 5,700 kg beyond 60 minutes on a single engine unless approved by DGCA through an ETOPS approval. 2. Any operation beyond 60 minutes is considered an Extended Twin Engine Operation (ETOPS) and requires prior DGCA approval. 3. The ETOPS segment begins at the entry point and ends when the flight path returns within 60 minutes of an adequate airport.
